Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a Waterfront Test Manager/Power Coordinator to provide on-site support for US Navy surface ship modernizations and to manage the execution and scheduling of test activities across multiple locations, CONUS and OCONUS.

The role requires coordinating with NSWCPD teams, ship yards, and ship force, ensuring safe power tagging and timely testing. The ideal candidate has seven years of hands-on experience with HM&E equipment on Navy ships, a current secret clearance, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E equipment on US Navy surface ships or submarines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of NSWCPD test procedures.
• Coordinate ship yard test support among NSWCPD codes; interface with ship yard test management; provide weekly status reports.
• Notify the ship manager representative (SMR) of delays and changes from production entities.
• Provide power coordination and schedule tag in/tag out of all power equipment to ensure safety and support alterations.
