Job summary

Future Electronics in the United States is seeking a Motor Control Specialist Field Applications Engineer within its Advanced Engineering Group to provide expert technical leadership for MCU-based motor control solutions and to enable customer success throughout the design cycle.

You will collaborate with Advanced Engineering, Sales, and suppliers to guide hardware selection, firmware development, and system optimization, deliver training, and develop demonstration platforms.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 5–10 years in electronics or related field.
• Strong background in MCU-based motor control including FOC, BLDC, PMSM, stepper, and real-time embedded firmware.
• Hands-on with MCU peripherals, power electronics, sensorless control, and system optimization; experience with motor control development tools, software libraries, and reference designs is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for MCU-based motor control designs and solutions.
• Partner with suppliers and customers to deliver high-value technical solutions and support qualified opportunities.
• Support hardware selection, firmware development, control algorithm implementation, and system optimization.
• Conduct training sessions on motor control technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Assist in developing motor control demonstration platforms and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Build strong relationships with supplier and customer engineering teams.
• Represent Future Electronics in customer-facing technical and sales activities.
• Stay current with emerging motor control technologies, products, and industry trends.
• Prioritize technical opportunities to maximize business impact and customer success.
