Job summary

Arup is seeking a Life Sciences Leader to drive growth and technical excellence for the Science sector across the West Coast, with a focus on San Francisco and Los Angeles. This strategic leadership role will establish and grow a West Coast Science hub and position Arup as a premier partner for life sciences clients in the region.

You will lead mechanical and electrical design for medium to large Life Sciences projects, mentor teams, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with West Coast

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in mechanical/electrical engineering with CA PE licensure.
• 15+ years in mechanical/electrical design for built environments.
• 10+ years delivering Life Sciences projects as Engineer of Record.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/electrical design for medium to large Life Sciences facilities.
• Grow and lead the West Coast Life Sciences business and hub.
• Mentor project teams and drive technical excellence.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple projects.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to proposals.
