Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Seattle, WA is seeking a Labor Management Relations Associate with 2–6 years of traditional labor law experience to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice.

You will collaborate with senior attorneys on challenging cases, handle case law research, drafting briefs, and advise on bargaining and arbitrations while maintaining excellent academics and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of traditional labor law experience, working with or without partner oversight on litigation of unfair labor practice charges or grievances in labor arbitration, advising on labor law matters, researching labor law issues, or participating in or advising on collective bargaining.
• Other areas of expected experience: case law research, brief and motion drafting
• Employment law background and basic familiarity a plus (but not required)
• Excellent academic credentials and solid work ethic
• Stellar analytical skills and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters (litigation, charges, bargaining, research, etc.) simultaneously
• Experience and understanding of federal rules (trial or appellate) and NLRB rules a plus
• Admission to the California or Washington Bars or the ability to waive in
