Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) on the West Coast is seeking an Executive Director to expand institutional client coverage across public pensions, corporate pensions, insurance, endowments, foundations and healthcare systems.

You will cultivate relationships with institutional asset owners and partner with Consultant Relations, Product Specialists, Marketing and Portfolio Management to deliver MSIM’s investment ideas and solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience developing new client relationships at an asset management platform.
• History of building and maintaining relationships with sophisticated asset owners.
• Strong understanding of institutional sales processes and segments.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional asset owners across the West Coast region.
• Cultivate partnerships with Consultant Relations, Product Specialists, Marketing and Portfolio Management.
• Maintain knowledge of investment strategies to position MSIM solutions to clients.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior professionals and support talent development.
