Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a TRU-Industrial Specialist to drive profitable growth for the Industrial unit on the West Coast (CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA). You will report to the Vice President, Industrial and lead territory planning, dealer partner development, and end-user engagement to grow market share.

Responsibilities include managing direct accounts, collaborating with zone and regional managers, staying current on industrial products, and mentoring Commercial Territory Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a territory business plan focused on identifying target markets and driving industrial growth.
• Work closely with existing and prospective dealer partners to establish strategic business plans that fuel new growth.
• Strengthen relationships with AC Store teams and end user accounts to align with distributor goals and grow market share.
• Manage the full sales cycle for direct accounts—from lead generation to close.
• Partner with AC Store Zone Managers and Regional Managers to align on industrial strategy and ensure a unified go-to-market approach.
• Stay current on industrial products and services and invest in your growth through ongoing training and our Performance Learning Plan.
• Monitor competitor activities and offerings to develop counter-strategies that maintain market leadership.
• Stay informed about market trends and customer needs to adapt proactively and seize new opportunities.
• Support the development of Commercial Territory Managers by sharing knowledge and best practices.
