Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a TRU-Industrial Specialist to drive profitable growth for the Industrial business unit. You will execute our industrial strategy and deliver value to direct customers and dealer partners while reporting to the Vice President, Industrial.

The role covers the west coast market (CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA). You will lead territory planning, develop dealer partnerships, engage with AC Store and end users, manage direct accounts, and collaborate with regional

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
6–8 years of sales experience, preferably in Industrial Coatings.
Willingness to travel 50–70% across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Territory Business Planning: develop and implement a plan to identify target markets and drive growth.
Dealer Partner Development: collaborate with partners to fuel new growth through strategic plans.
AC Store & End User Engagement: strengthen relationships to align with distributor goals and grow market share.
Direct Account Management: manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
Internal Collaboration: align with Zone and Regional Managers on go-to-market strategy.
Product & Personal Development: stay current on industrial products and ongoing training.
Competitive Intelligence: monitor rivals to maintain market leadership.
Industry Insight: stay informed on trends and customer needs to seize opportunities.
Mentorship & Team Development: support the development of Commercial Territory Managers.
