Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to oversee the West Coast safety program across offices and field sites. You will implement policies, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and train staff to maintain compliance and high safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of safety experience, with a professional safety certification being a plus. Radiation Safety Officer certification should be obtained within 6 months of hire; travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years safety experience preferred.
• Professional safety certification a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or training.
• Radiation Safety Officer certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain health and safety programs across West Coast.
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and training.
• Coordinate radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare safety reports and emergency response plans.
• Travel 50–60% to field sites.
