Job summary

Form Energy is recruiting a Recruiting Manager to lead its West Coast talent acquisition team from Berkeley. This hybrid role requires onsite presence 2–3 days per week with relocation assistance available.

The team focuses on hardware engineering roles across battery, mechanical, and manufacturing disciplines. You will partner with engineering leadership, collaborate with People Operations, and drive a data-driven approach to talent planning and brand-building.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing 5+ recruiters or coordinators.
• Deep understanding of hardware engineering talent and recruiting strategies.
• Experience navigating startup environments and scaling processes.
• Collaborative work across People Operations and HR partners in multiple locations.
• Ability to work from or commute regularly to Berkeley, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5+ recruiters and talent coordinators with a culture of excellence.
• Design sourcing and hiring strategies for complex hardware roles across battery, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering.
• Partner with West Coast engineering and leadership to forecast talent gaps and translate plans into hiring actions.
• Collaborate with Somerville and Weirton teams to standardize processes and maintain a national talent brand.
• Partner with People Operations on total rewards and headcount planning.
• Own recruiting KPIs and use data insights to optimize processes and reporting to leadership.
• Shape Form Energy’s employer brand to attract top hardware talent.
