Job summary

Form Energy is building multi-day energy storage and is scaling a Berkeley-based recruiting team. We are hiring a Recruiting Manager to lead our West Coast talent acquisition, overseeing 5+ recruiters and coordinators, and partnering with engineering leaders to attract hardware talent.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Berkeley 2–3 days per week, with relocation assistance available. Join a mission-driven company shaping America's energy future.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading a recruiting team.
• Proven hardware recruiting experience within complex product companies.
• Experience coordinating with multiple locations and HR partners.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and grow a team of 5+ recruiters and coordinators.
• Design sourcing and hiring strategies for hardware roles across battery, mechanical, electrical and manufacturing engineering.
• Partner with West Coast engineering leadership to forecast talent gaps and translate plans into hiring actions.
• Collaborate with People Operations across Somerville and Weirton to maintain a unified national talent brand.
• Own time-to-hire, quality of hire, pipeline health, and data-driven process improvements.
• Shape employer branding to attract top hardware talent.
