Job summary

Nectar Social in Palo Alto is seeking an Event & Community Manager to own our West Coast events, from intimate dinners to conference sponsorships, across SF and LA.

You will build a scalable program with budgets, vendors, and ROI tracking, while growing our customer and industry community through AMAs, office hours, and ambassador initiatives. This role reports to the marketing leadership and offers strong autonomy in an early-stage startup.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in B2B event marketing or community management.
• Proven ability to run end-to-end events sourcing pipeline and accelerate pipeline alongside sales.
• Experience with campaign attribution in HubSpot or Salesforce and post-event follow-up with target accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution for West Coast event calendar across SF and LA: customer dinners, executive roundtables, happy hours, creator meetups, and conference sponsorships and booths.
• Run account-based event programs with sales: executive dinners and roundtables built around target accounts, with a follow-up plan for every attendee.
• Build a recurring event series in both cities to establish a consistent presence.
• Manage budgets, vendors, venues, and logistics; develop repeatable processes as the company scales.
• Partner with sales and customer success on event strategies that generate pipeline and deepen relationships.
• Track and report on event ROI and use data to sharpen the calendar over time.
