We are looking for a Clinical Operations Director (COD) for egnite, a rapidly growing digital health company focused on improving the experience of cardiovascular patients across the US. The COD will serve as the overall account manager for assigned customers, partnering with key internal stakeholders and customer stakeholders to maximize impact The COD must effectively partner with clinical and administrative stakeholders to define key opportunities, ensure buy-in for key patient access activities, and facilitating data-driven process conversations. Additionally, the COD is responsible for proactively monitoring key metrics of success and implementing change management processes where needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the clinical expert and operational point-of-contact, advocate, problem solver, and trusted advisor for a defined set of hospital clients including CV Service Line Leaders and Clinicians
  • Ensure high rates of client retention of assigned accounts by partnering with hospital teams to close care gaps identified by CardioCare to deliver better patient outcomes and return on investment for the hospital
  • Develop strategic relationships with CV Service Line Leaders and Clinicians at assigned accounts
  • Become an expert in our digital health platform (CardioCare), leveraging the latest enhancements to meet our client’s needs
  • Travel independently or as a team to deliver the CardioCare Service onsite, including but not limited to: pre-launch process discovery workshops (as-is, to-be clinical assessments), managing provider communications planning, program launch including delivering data and benchmarking to identify opportunities to improve patient care and develop actionable next steps to act on the data, ongoing touchpoints to ensure hospitals are using the software and following new processes to sustain a higher quality of care, deliver financial based ROI presentations to support contract renewals
  • Develop strong relationships with key life science field team members
  • Support training of newer team members on an as-needed basis
  • Identify and quantify customer feedback (enhancements and areas for improvement) to assist in driving meaningful product enhancements
  • Communicate client progress within Salesforce CRM system
  • Collaborate frequently with Clinical Operations Managers and other internal team members across the organization to achieve shared objectives

This role requires privileged access controls for critical systems or data, ensuring that only authorized employees have access to sensitive information to help prevent data breaches and unauthorized access to sensitive information.

Education and experience:

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in healthcare related field
  • 5+ years of experience working as a nurse practitioner, physician assistant or registered nurse in the cardiovascular space required; structural heart, preferred. Structural heart valve clinic coordinator experience a plus.
  • Must live in the West USA.

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years of related experience in a healthcare medtech industry role which may include clinical field work, marketing, strategy, consulting
  • Experience presenting data and influencing clinicians to improve patient care without direct authority
  • Business development experience including contract renewals and client relationship management also a plus Experience building and managing relationships, including interacting with all levels of management (both internally and client-focused) with a focus on customer experience and account retention
  • Experience in roles with regular interactions with a variety of healthcare employees ranging from front line healthcare contributors through to high-level hospital executives

  • Executive influence and excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients
  • Stellar relationship building skills with clinical and industry professionals
  • Ability to understand operational clinical and business workflows and turn strategic concepts into actionable plans
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, process redesign and change management; formal lean sigma and/or change management skills preferred
  • Ability to translate clinical feedback and user experience into actionable feedback for the engineering and data teams at egnite
  • Excellent verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-starting and autonomous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Location and Travel

  • Located in posted region within the USA
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time to client sites, corporate meetings, and conferences/seminars
