Qualifications

• Licensure as a professional civil engineer with the Minnesota Board or ability to obtain licensure through Comity.
• Experience in project management to prioritize and schedule multiple projects and manage budgets and staff.
• Knowledge of MnDOT standards, regulations, and related policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with public agencies and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide inception-to-completion project management for Metro District and locally led projects in Hennepin County.
• Lead negotiations with government units and management of consultant contracts.
• Plan and conduct public engagement activities and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Balance external and internal priorities to advance department and local priorities.
