Job summary

Therabody is seeking an Associate Product Developer in Los Angeles to own the development of innovative products from ideation through launch. You will act as an engineer and project manager, handling engineering and quality documentation, design changes, and testing with cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, marketing, science, and sales.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, prototyping, and user testing to align with consumer needs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in product development or human factors engineering.
• Hands-on engineering problem solving including root-cause analysis and design for manufacturing concepts.
• Experience prototyping, running user tests, and evaluating form factor and ergonomics.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and reviewing 3D models/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead profitable new product development from ideation to mass production.
• Act as hands-on engineer to identify, troubleshoot and resolve engineering problems.
• Own engineering and quality documentation: requirements, specs, BOMs, test plans, reports.
• Drive form factor development: ergonomics, size, weight, materials, finish.
• Plan and run user testing and translate findings into design improvements.
• Track product performance after launch to identify optimization opportunities.
