Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is hiring at our Indian Trail location in the United States. We seek energetic team players for a customer-focused role with sales and leadership training provided.

Compensation starts at 10.50–15.00+ per hour including commission and potential bonuses; flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement are offered. Join a vibrant team dedicated to skin care and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• Ability to effectively influence others; must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation with flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, selecting, and orienting salon staff.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to staff to meet sales goals.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor results.
• Manage controllable expenses to achieve financial objectives.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, stocking, organization, and customer readiness.
• Establish rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, team-based environment.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.

On the job training to learn management responsibilities includes:

• Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and correcting employees.
• Completing company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives through effective monitoring controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses.
• Maintaining the stability and reputation of the salon by complying with all legal requirements.
• Managing and assigning tasks appropriately to ensure the salons are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer ready.
• Establishing rapport with customers building loyalty and long-term relationships
• Creating a positive, motivating, team based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money received and being responsible for banking requirements.
