Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking energetic team players for a dynamic retail environment in Winston-Salem, NC. Positions offer on-site work with a generous compensation plan including hourly pay, commissions, and monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• Ability to effectively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods (7+ hours).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• On the job training to learn management responsibilities includes staffing: recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching.
• Completing company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives through monitoring controllable expenses such as labor and cost of sales.
• Maintaining salon reputation by complying with all legal requirements.
• Managing tasks to keep salons clean, stocked, organized, and customer ready.
• Establishing rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Creating a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns professionally and timely.
• Analyzing daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and profits.

• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money received and being responsible for banking requirements.
