Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in United States, South Carolina, North Augusta seeks energetic retail professionals to join our team. You will provide excellent customer service, operate the POS, and drive sales with product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• Ability to effectively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time (7+ hours).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation with flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieve sales goals and other performance metrics through coaching and feedback to staff.
• Schedule and assign employees; monitor work results.
• Control expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, stock, organization and customer readiness.
• Build rapport with customers to foster loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize net profit.
• Handle banking and money security responsibilities.

Responsibilities includes:

• Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and correcting employees.
• Completing company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives through effective monitoring controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses.
• Maintaining the stability and reputation of the salon by complying with all legal requirements.
• Managing and assigning tasks appropriately to ensure the salons are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well-kept, and customer ready.
• Establishing rapport with customers building loyalty and long-term relationships
• Creating a positive, motivating, team based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information and performing all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money received and being responsible for banking requirements.
