Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
• Ability to effectively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods (7+ hours/day).
• Must lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Achieving sales goals and other performance criteria through training, motivating, mentoring and coaching staff.
• Scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Managing expenses to meet financial objectives and protect salon stability.
• Ensuring salon cleanliness, stocking, organization and customer readiness.
• Building customer loyalty and long-term relationships.
