Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking energetic individuals for a sales-focused role in a dynamic salon environment. You will support the salon manager, engage with customers, and contribute to meeting sales targets while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for 7+ hours per day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the salon manager with staffing by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff; including coaching and counseling.
• Scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives by monitoring controllable expenses such as labor and cost of sales.
• Maintain salon cleanliness, stock levels, organization, and customer readiness.
• Establish rapport with customers, building loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Analyzing daily sales and expense information to maximize profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money and banking requirements.
