Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking an energetic assistant salon manager to support daily salon operations in a vibrant, team‑oriented environment. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff while driving sales and ensuring top customer service, loyalty, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Ability to positively influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, selecting, and orienting salon staff.
• Training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff; coaching and counseling employees.
• Scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Achieving financial objectives through monitoring controllable expenses.
• Maintaining salon compliance with all legal requirements.
• Managing tasks to keep salons clean, stocked, organized, and customer ready.
• Creating rapport with customers and building loyalty.
• Establishing a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Investigating and resolving customer concerns promptly.
• Analyzing daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.
• Safeguarding and accounting for all money and banking requirements.
