Role Description

The Wellness Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site role based at beem® Light Sauna in Grand Rapids, MI. In this position, the associate greets guests, explains sauna and wellness services, answers questions, and helps individuals select the sessions or packages that best fit their goals. Daily responsibilities include scheduling appointments, processing payments, managing memberships, and maintaining a clean, organized studio environment. The role involves promoting current offers, educating guests on safety and usage guidelines, and ensuring that each visit is smooth, welcoming, and consistent with beem® Light Sauna’s service standards. The Wellness Sales Associate also supports basic administrative tasks and collaborates with team members to meet sales targets and enhance the guest experience.

Sales and point-of-sale (POS) experience, including promoting services, handling payments, and supporting membership or package sales. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed. Basic computer skills for scheduling, communication, and record-keeping; prior front desk or reception experience is helpful. Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light cleaning or room setup to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or fitness/wellness settings is a plus.
