Job summary

Hanley Foundation, a West Palm Beach-based nonprofit, seeks a Wellness Coordinator to develop and coordinate wellness programming supporting clients in a recovery-focused environment. The role collaborates with clinical, nursing, medical, and support teams to integrate wellness with treatment goals and recovery plans.

Responsibilities include leading fitness, mindfulness, and education activities, promoting healthy lifestyles, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in health, wellness, exercise science, behavioral health, recreation, social services, or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, wellness, recreation, or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and facilitate wellness activities and educational programs for clients.
• Promote healthy lifestyle practices related to nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, mindfulness, and overall well-being.
• Lead or coordinate activities such as fitness, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and other recovery-supportive programming.
• Collaborate with clinical team to ensure wellness activities align with treatment goals.
• Maintain documentation of participation and wellness-related activities.
• Maintain boundaries and professional relationships with clients.
