Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. through RHD Delaware Residential Programs seeks a Wellness Coach to support adults with serious mental illness in a residential setting. You will help residents build life skills, bolster independence, and pursue personal goals in a recovery-focused environment.

Under supervision, you’ll apply Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles to promote wellness, community integration, and safety while forming positive relationships and empowering residents daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services-related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Commitment to recovery-oriented and person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Foster a recovery-oriented, supportive environment.
• Build trusting relationships with residents while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Provide encouragement, coaching, and emotional support aligned with individual recovery goals.
• Help residents develop daily living and community participation skills.
• Support individualized recovery plans and residents' personal goals.
• Encourage self-advocacy and active participation in recovery processes.
• Collaborate with families, treatment providers, and team members to coordinate supports.
• Promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness through person-centered care.
