Job summary

Houston Methodist Wellness Coordinator position focuses on implementing health promotion and disease prevention programs for a diverse population. You will perform health assessments and health screenings, coordinate services and staff for Employee and Corporate Wellness, and lead group and individual instruction across settings.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, one year of wellness/health promotion experience (internship accepted), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field is required.
• One year of wellness, health promotion, exercise science, nutrition, or related experience; internship accepted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and screenings (metabolic, body composition, bone density, fitness testing).
• Coordinate wellness programs and services with internal departments and external clients.
• Deliver health instruction in group and one-on-one settings; create engaging wellness discussions.
