Job summary

Vitality is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to lead and develop a compassionate team focused on promoting dignity and choice for residents. You will manage staffing, monitor resident needs, and assist with new resident transitions to the YourLife community.

The role involves coordinating schedules, overseeing CPR certifications, and ensuring documentation and communication are up to date, with opportunities to train new staff and support family engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health-related requirements and certifications as required.
• Must be computer literate and able to use Word and Excel programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing schedules based on occupancy and create two-week schedules for staff.
• Coordinate coverage for staff call-offs to maintain staffing ratios.
• Ensure staff are logged in and equipped (iPads, radios) for their shifts and returned afterward.
• Assist with resident move-ins and transitions into YourLife community as needed.
• Assist with orientation and training for new Personal Care Specialists.
• Monitor CPR certifications and schedule classes as needed.
• Read communications and shift-change notes; document pertinent information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
