Job summary

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Wellness Nurse Supervisor to support the Health & Wellness Department. You will supervise caregiving staff, coordinate resident medical services, ensure documentation and regulatory compliance, and communicate with residents, families, and external providers.

You will lead clinical oversight, provide hands-on support, and develop training to promote best practices.

Qualifications

• Current and active CA LVN or RN license required.
• Two years of LVN nursing or assisted living experience preferred.
• Supervisory/management experience is strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise medication technicians and caregiving staff; ensure accurate handoffs and documentation.
• Maintain complete, confidential medical records; oversee treatments and care plans.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers; manage medical charts.
• Lead infection control policies, including COVID-19 protocols and visitation guidelines.
• Coordinate resident medical appointments and transportation; triage health changes.
• Provide immediate clinical support and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations of wellness staff.
• Develop and deliver training, in-services, and mentoring for best practices.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and perform audits for quality/compliance.
