Job summary

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living in San Francisco is seeking an LVN/RN Staff Development Coordinator to lead education and quality improvement for nursing staff within our renowned senior services campus.

You will coordinate training, develop documentation, and provide hands-on instruction to ensure compliance and resident safety, working with nursing leadership and inter-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current California RN or LVN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• One year of direct patient care in long-term care plus one year of education program planning OR two years' licensed nursing with at least one year in direct patient care.
• Within six months of employment, 24 hours of continuing education in educational program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver staff education, orientation, and compliance training programs.
• Develop and maintain training documentation per state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
• Provide hands-on clinical instruction and annual competency assessments for nursing staff and CNAs.
• Support employee health initiatives and design training for resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to identify quality issues and drive improvement.
• Conduct in-service and certification programs to ensure ongoing staff competency and compliance.
