JGS – Ruth's House in Massachusetts is seeking a Wellness Nurse (LPN or RN) for PRN, variable shifts. Compensation ranges from $32.00 to $36.00 per hour, based on experience.

The role includes supervising nursing staff and ensuring high-quality resident care, with responsibilities spanning monitoring, physician orders, and safety. Qualified candidates hold an MA license (RN or LPN), CPR/BLS certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing care, supervise nurses and CNAs
• Monitor residents’ conditions and follow physician orders
• Recognize changes in residents’ status and initiate interventions
• Instruct staff on policies, procedures and clinical standards

Delivering Solutions That Matter

• Overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Taking full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying recognized nursing standards.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.

Qualifications For Success

• Current, unencumbered MA Registered Nurse – RN license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Prior experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
