Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Brewster is seeking a Wellness Nurse LPN/RN for part‑time coverage in the Wellness Resident Care department. You will assist in coordinating care, supervise staff, and support medication administration for our senior residents within a luxury, home‑like environment.

The role requires MA RN or LPN licensure, experience in long‑term care or assisted living, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN or LPN, licensed in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience in assisted living or long‑term care setting.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience and passion working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including CNAs.
• Assist in supervising the medication program and assist residents with self‑administration of medication.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents/changes in resident needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
• Assist in completing resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist with clinical assessments/recertifications per state requirements.
• Support Resident Services Director in hiring for and managing performance within the department.
• Assist in training and orientation of new associates.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in‑service programs, training programs and associate meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as needed.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Resident Services Department associates as needed.
• Support residents and families to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
