Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Brewster, MA is seeking a part-time Wellness Nurse (RN/LPN) for overnight shifts. The role focuses on coordinating resident care, supervising medication administration, and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and physicians.

You will support the Resident Services Director, participate in staff training, screenings, and care planning, and ensure high-quality service in a luxury, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a RN or LPN licensed in MA.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience and passion working with seniors.
• RN/LPN licensure in MA; RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the medication program and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents to Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
• Assist in resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist with clinical assessments/recertifications per state requirements.
• Support Resident Services Director in hiring and performance management.
• Assist in training and orientation of new associates.
• Participate in scheduled in-service programs and meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants.
• Provide coaching to RSA staff and support residents and families.
