Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living is seeking an LPN/RN Wellness Nurse for Mill Hill Residence in Massachusetts on a per diem basis. You will support the Resident Services Director in delivering and coordinating care, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active LPN license in the appropriate state, CPR certification, and at least two years of clinical experience, preferably in assisted living or long-term care. Weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed to practice in appropriate state(s).
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care setting preferred.
• Experience and/or interest working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Services Department associates, including CNAs.
• Assist in supervising the medication program and residents' self-administration of medication.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families and physicians.
• Report significant incidents/changes in residents' needs to leadership.
• Support completion of resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist with clinical assessments/recertifications.
• Support Director in hiring and performance management.
• Assist in training and orientation of new associates.
• Attend scheduled in-service programs and meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of RSA staff.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
• Support residents and families to ensure high level of satisfaction.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
