Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Nurse to support resident care and medication administration with compassion and dignity. The role focuses on accurately following MARs, using the eMAR system, and collaborating with clinical leadership for resident needs.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN or LPN license, CPR/First Aid, and strong multitasking and communication skills. The position offers full-time hours and comprehensive benefits at many locations.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Experience with medication administration policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately following the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to Physician’s orders.
• Understand and follow the Six rights of medication administration and all policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care; supervise non-licensed team members as appropriate.
• Lead by embodying the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
