Job summary

Coterie Senior Living - Cathedral Hill in San Francisco seeks a Wellness Nurse to support the Wellness Manager in delivering resident care and coordinating medications. You will supervise medication activities, assist residents with daily living tasks, and maintain positive relations with families and physicians.

The role requires proper nursing licensure, state-specific certification, and completion of required Atria training programs. Flexibility to work various shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in good standing.
• Certification or licensed per state guidelines.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification if required by State.
• Must complete Atria's Medication Management Training (if providing medication reminders or assistance with medication).
• Must complete all Atria training programs.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the medication program and in the medication room activities.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
• Report significant incidents or changes in residents’ needs to the General Manager/Wellness Manager.
• Assist in resident assessments and service plans.
• Assist in training Assisted Living staff and orienting new staff.
• Attend scheduled in-service programs and staff meetings.
• Assist with scheduling Wellness Assistants and Medication Assistants.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Wellness Nurse is responsible for assisting the Wellness Manager with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care services at the Community. The Wellness Nurse will also assist in monitoring the medication management program.

• Assist in supervising the medication program, activity in the medication room, and assisting the residents with self-administration of their medications.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
• Report any significant incidents and/or changes in the resident's needs to the General Manager/Wellness Manager.
• Assist in the completion of resident assessments and services plans.
• Assist in the training of Assisted Living staff and participates in orientation of new staff.
• Attend and participates in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing of Wellness Assistants and Medication Assistants as needed.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $36.90/hr - $44.28/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
