Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market in the Midwest seeks a Vitamin & Body Care Manager to lead the department, drive sales, margins, and labor planning while delivering exceptional customer service. You will manage staff, schedule, train, and ensure compliance with health guidelines, product knowledge, and pricing accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years professional experience.
• Preferred 3-5 years grocery retail experience in Vitamin & Body Care department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly sales and labour projections for the Vitamin & Body Care Department to maximize sales and profits.
• Monitors costs and expenses; manage ordering, inventory, shrink, and pricing accuracy.
• Manages department staff including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Oversees shift operations and department work schedules.
• Ensures weekly flyer ads are stocked and products are prepared for upcoming ads.
• Maintains department organization, product facing, tagging, and cleanliness for safety.
• Responds to customer inquiries and assists with purchases and product selection.
