Job summary

The Wellness Advisor I at YMCA of Greater Indianapolis focuses on member safety in strength and cardio areas and serves as a key member of the wellness team. You will guide new members through onboarding sessions, assess goals, and connect them to appropriate programs and services.

You will conduct one-on-one wellness appointments, monitor activity using our software, track progress, and follow up to encourage continued engagement.

• Ensure safety of members in wellness areas and guide onboarding sessions for new members.
• Engage with members through one-on-one wellness appointments and follow-ups to support goals.
• Use software to track activity, progress, and program participation.
• Connect members to appropriate wellness programs and services at the YMCA.
• Foster a safe, motivating environment and ensure proper equipment use.
