Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
NPHire is seeking a part-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead comprehensive men’s health evaluations. You will oversee consultations, evaluations, and treatment plans for testosterone optimization, weight management, sexual health, and peptide therapies, with a focus on patient outcomes.
You will work with medical assistants and other staff, while growing into a clinical leadership role as the practice expands. Training and ongoing support are provided.
We're a growing men's health and hormone optimization practice in the Friendswood, TX area, helping men - first responders, veterans, dads, business owners, and everyone in between - regain their energy, confidence, and performance through personalized, medically guided care. We're a relationship-driven clinic: every patient should walk out feeling known, heard, and confident in the plan we built together. We intentionally keep patient volume manageable so our provider has real time for thorough evaluations, lab review, patient education, and documentation - not just moving people through appointments.
You'll take real ownership of the clinical experience here: comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning across testosterone optimization, medically guided weight loss, sexual health/ED, peptide therapy, and vitamin and performance therapies, and the follow-through to make sure patients actually get results. You'll have a supportive team around you — medical assistants, front-office staff, ownership, and a Medical Director — and for the right person, real room to grow into a clinical leadership role as the practice expands.
Perform comprehensive new-patient consultations, physical assessments, and follow-up visits. Evaluate and treat patients for testosterone optimization, peptide therapy, medically guided weight loss, sexual health/ED, and other men's health needs. Order and interpret lab work, and adjust treatment plans as results come in. Build individualized treatment plans based on symptoms, history, labs, physical findings, and clinical judgment - and explain the reasoning clearly enough that patients understand and trust the plan. Comfortably answer general pricing questions when they come up in conversation; a dedicated care coordinator owns the formal pricing/closing conversation, so you're never expected to sell. Monitor patient progress and proactively flag concerns or inadequate response to treatment. Keep documentation complete, accurate, and on time. Work closely with medical assistants, front-office staff, ownership, and the Medical Director; mentor clinical staff as you grow into the role. Follow applicable clinical protocols, prescribing requirements, and regulatory standards.
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (Family or Adult) or licensed Physician Assistant. Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed NP or PA specifically in hormone optimization/TRT. (Prior RN experience in this space doesn't count toward this one - it needs to be NP/PA-level experience.). Current, active Texas NP or PA license. Active DEA registration required. (We'll help update the registered address for you; if yours has lapsed, we'll cover the renewal.). Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and time-management skills. Comfortable discussing testosterone, sexual health, weight management, and elective treatment options candidly with patients. Excellent communication skills - you can explain benefits, risks, alternatives, and expected outcomes in a way patients actually understand.
Paid training in men's health therapies and clinic protocols is provided from day one. As you grow into the role, there's real potential to take on a clinical leadership role - mentoring staff, shaping patient flow, and helping improve outcomes and the overall patient experience.
