Job summary

Aegis Therapies is seeking a Restorative CNA - Wellness Instructor in Parsons, KS. This PRN role works with the Rehab Therapy Team to deliver wellness and exercise programs within a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include restorative patient care under supervision, training on-site, and performing targeted restorative activities for seniors. CNA certification is required, with preference for additional fitness certifications.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in state of practice.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Specialty certification as personal trainer or fitness-related area preferred.
• Experience with exercise and activity training with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Rehabilitation / Therapy and collaborate with the therapy team to deliver wellness, fitness, and exercise programs.
• Receive restorative training on-site; CNA certification required.
• Assist in restorative care of patients as directed.
• Perform exclusive restorative tasks (ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, ROM, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care).
