Job summary

Greater Midland Wellness Center seeks a Wellness Specialist to help ensure a safe, welcoming and high‑quality experience for members and guests, whether in person, by phone or email. The role involves supporting membership processes, conducting orientations and InBody assessments, and collaborating with the team to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Exercise Science or Health Science background (years of experience considered).
• CPR & First Aid certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Nationally Accredited Personal Training and/or Group Fitness Instructor Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and engaging with members to create a welcoming environment.
• Lead member orientations and facility tours, communicating program value to boost engagement.
• Accurately manage membership processes, including sign-ups, adjustments, and program registrations with attention to detail.
• Monitor Wellness Center floor for exercise safety, cleanliness, and equipment storage; report issues.
• Collaborate with team, flexibly covering shifts and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Adhere to mandated training requirements.
• Respond to supervisor requests promptly to ensure member satisfaction.
• Communicate across sites to ensure consistency of service.
• Demonstrate leadership aligned with Greater Midland's Values.
