Job summary

Villa Gardens Retirement Community in Pasadena is seeking a Life Enrichment Specialist to plan and carry out wellness programming across all levels of care. You will lead activities addressing six dimensions of wellness and coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality programming.

Experience with memory care and supervision of staff/volunteers is preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience planning activities for residents across care levels.
• Knowledge of OBRA and Title 22 guidelines.
• Ability to supervise staff and volunteers.
• Excellent customer service to residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers and vendors.
• Implements individualized programs and services for residents at every level of care.
• Coordinates transportation and volunteers for Life Enrichment programming.
• Collaborates with departments to run activity programs.
• Ensures compliance with OBRA and Title 22 guidelines.
• Maintains resident attendance records and supports care planning.
