NorthPointe Woods, a Cardinal Senior Living community in Battle Creek, seeks a Director of Wellness to lead clinical excellence with ownership of resident care, systems, documentation, and regulatory readiness. You will establish standards, guide staff, and drive proactive problem solving to ensure high-quality care.

The role emphasizes building capable teams, strong collaboration with physicians and families, and sustaining safe, compliant operations across the community.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care
• Strong knowledge of assessments, care planning, and medication management

Responsabilités

• Resident assessments and individualized care planning
• Changes in condition and clinical follow-through
• Medication management and administration standards
• Clinical documentation and record accuracy
• Admissions, transitions of care, and level-of-care decisions
• Infection prevention and resident safety
• Regulatory readiness and clinical compliance
• Resident and family clinical communication
• Clinical staffing, onboarding, training, and competency
• Coordination with physicians, pharmacies, home health, hospice and other providers
• Identify and correct recurring clinical or process gaps
• Build a team that executes the standard and uses clinical judgment
