We want someone who knows what good looks like, notices when something is off, asks the next question, and does not need to be reminded to follow through.
This role is for a clinical leader who wants real ownership of resident care, clinical systems, documentation, medication management, team capability, and regulatory readiness.
You will have the autonomy to use your expertise, the responsibility to build strong systems, and the expectation that your department operates with consistency and discipline.
As Director of Wellness, you are the clinical leader of NorthPointe Woods.
The expectation is not simply that problems get handled.
The expectation is that you understand why they happened and strengthen the system so they are less likely to happen again.
You should not have to personally solve every problem forever.
A strong Director of Wellness builds a team that understands the standard and can execute it consistently.
You’ll coach through observation, documentation, clinical judgment, and results. You’ll recognize strong performance, address gaps directly, and make sure employees understand both the task and the reason behind it.
We want a clinical leader who creates capability, not dependency.
Great resident care does not happen in isolation.
You will be expected to bring clinical facts, sound judgment, and clear recommendations to the table.
At Cardinal Senior Living, our mission is to provide dignity, safety and care to our elderly residents.
At NorthPointe Woods, the Director of Wellness plays a critical role in making that mission real every day.
For this role, clinical excellence comes down to execution.
Are the assessments right?
Are the medications right?
Are the care plans right?
Does the team understand the standard?
Are problems being caught early?
Are residents receiving the care we said they would receive?
We want a clinical leader who takes pride in being able to answer yes.
If you are the kind of nurse who likes to understand the details, build better systems, raise standards, develop capable people, and own the quality of care in your community, this may be exactly the role you’ve been looking for.
