Wellness Director / DON

Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking a Wellness Director / DON to join the team! The comfort and care of our residents is our highest priority.

As the Wellness Director / DON, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical operations of the nursing department to provide comprehensive care for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing and maintaining knowledge of all policies and procedures related to the position, department, and personnel.
2. Implementing active wellness programs for residents in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.
3. Maintaining resident files systematically and documenting all pertinent information.
4. Preparing resident charges and reporting to the Director for approval and billing.
5. Completing a minimum of 12 hours of annual training relevant to the community's resident population.
6. Assessing residents within 90 days prior to move-in and annually thereafter, or as their condition changes.
7. Developing initial and comprehensive Individual Service Plans (ISP) within specified timelines.
8. Overseeing resident care provided by the nursing department.
9. Investigating resident and family complaints or concerns and reporting findings to the Director, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
