Wellness Director / DON (Healthcare)



Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking a Wellness Director / DON to join the team! The comfort and care of our residents is our highest priority.

As the Wellness Director / DON, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical operations of the nursing department to provide comprehensive care for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of all policies and procedures related to the position, department, and personnel.
  • Implementing active wellness programs in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.
  • Maintaining resident files and documenting pertinent information.
  • Preparing resident charges and reports for approval and billing.
  • Completing a minimum of 12 hours of annual training relevant to the community.
  • Assessing residents within 90 days prior to move-in and annually, or as their condition changes.
  • Developing initial and comprehensive Individual Service Plans (ISP) within specified timeframes.
  • Overseeing resident care provided by the nursing department.
  • Investigating resident and family complaints or concerns and reporting findings to the Director, ensuring resolution.
