Job summary

The Jasper of Mansfield, a premier retirement community in Mansfield, Texas, seeks a Wellness Director to oversee resident care and health-related services within an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting. You will lead policies, coordinate clinical activities, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain high-quality care.

Applicants should be a licensed or registered nurse with 3–5 years in in-home health or geriatric nursing and 2–4 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• RN license or registered nurse, with 3–5 years in in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar role.
• Minimum 2–4 years supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of policies and procedures related to resident care and oversight of health-related services.
• Coordinate and direct all activities in line with state and federal regulations and community policies.
• Establish working relationships with resident health care providers and professionals.
• Manage and direct activities to ensure compliance and quality of care.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Wellness Director Responsibilities include:

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
• Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
• Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
• A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.
