Job summary

The Jasper of Mansfield, a Sonida Senior Living community in Mansfield, TX, seeks a Wellness Director to oversee resident care and health-related services in a licensed in-home or geriatric setting.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, coordinate with health care professionals, and drive quality of care across the community. RN licensure and 2–4 years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a current RN license.
• 3–5 years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar role.
• 2–4 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care and health-related services in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate and direct activities in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain relationships with health care professionals and providers in the community.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Wellness Director Responsibilities include:

• Assures implementation of policies and procedures relating to Resident care and oversight of all health-related services.
• Manages, coordinates and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Establishes working relationship with health care professionals in the community to include interactions with the Residents’ health care providers.
• Manages, coordinates, and directs all activities in accordance with state and applicable federal regulations, as well as Community policies and procedures.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in-home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position.
• A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.
