Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a Director of Wellness to lead our Baypoint Village Community. You will supervise wellness staff, conduct nursing assessments, and collaborate with families and physicians on resident care plans.

Ideal candidates hold LPN/LVN/RN licensure and have a track record of leadership in assisted living or memory care, with strong communication skills and survey success. This is an on-site role at our Florida community.

Qualifications

• A valid LPN, LVN, or RN license.
• 2+ years of experience as a Director in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Proven leadership skills including building, training, and retaining quality teams.
• Successful survey history.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise wellness staff including recruiting, hiring, and evaluating.
• Complete nursing assessments and resident evaluations.
• Oversee care plans and physician orders with families.
• Monitor MAR/eMAR and accuracy of resident data.
• Coordinate services with home health, hospice, and other agencies.
• Occasionally fulfill charge nurse duties to evaluate care efficiency.
• Collaborate with executive and sales to coordinate move-ins.

As a Vitality Living Director of Wellness, you will impact lives by:

• Directly supervise wellness staff with respect to recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training, counseling, etc.
• Complete Nursing Assessments, auxiliary evaluations of residents, and other required or requested evaluations
• Oversee establishment of new residents’ care plans and physician orders and conduct plan reviews with families on a regular basis
• Monitor and audit MAR and eMAR and oversee the timely and accurate tracking of resident data
• Coordinate services with home health, hospice, and other agencies.
• Occasionally fulfill charge nurse duties in order to evaluate efficiencies, systems and resident care.
• Collaborate with the Executive and Sales Directors on coordinating move-ins.
