Job summary

Episcopal SeniorLife Communities in New York is seeking a part-time Health & Wellness Coordinator/Driver to plan and coordinate programs that enhance well-being for older adults in our community. You will develop dementia-friendly activities, recruit and supervise volunteers, and collaborate with outreach to connect residents with services, nutrition education, and social opportunities.

This role requires a NY driver’s license, creativity, and strong organizational skills, with compensation at

Qualifications

Associate degree in human services or related field preferred.
Experience planning and providing health and wellness activities for older adults preferred.
Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to drive ESLC vehicle to transport residents.
Evidence of creativity.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and the general public
Possesses computer skills (Word, Office, Publisher).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver dementia-friendly health and wellness programming.
Attracting new members and driving increased participation in Neighborhood Programs.
Expanding and delivering health and wellness programs with volunteers.
Promoting programs with nutrition education, strength training, and other activities.
Tracking and reporting data for grant requirements.
