Mount View Assisted Living in New York is seeking a Wellness Program Coordinator to design and lead engaging wellness activities across the six dimensions: physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and vocational. You will supervise Wellness Leaders and Volunteers, and collaborate with staff to ensure resident well-being and happiness.

Qualificações

• Minimum age 18 with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others; create a warm climate for residents.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility, patience, and sensitivity to residents' needs.
• Physical stamina for constant activity.
• Proof of Immunizations; annual TB test.
• Annual flu vaccination or mask during flu season.
• Criminal history background check clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Wellness Manager in planning and carrying out activities program.
• Plan individual recreational and social activities with residents.
• Administer cognitive or memory tests as needed.
• Inform residents of community programs and events.
• Develop and maintain contact with community resources for wellness program.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies for activities.
• Prepare reports as required for program oversight.
• Coordinate with volunteers for planned programs.
• Perform light housekeeping in Wellness Room and activity areas.
• Maintain bulletin boards on every floor and Wellness Room.
