Job summary

Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate wellness and fitness programming at the Sumter Campus. You will direct campaigns, lead educational activities, and drive membership initiatives to promote a healthy workplace.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, ensuring staff training, and maintaining equipment and spaces. A Bachelor's degree and CPR are required; ACSM is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health science, recreation or related field is required.
• 1+ year of experience in health promotion, fitness facility management or recreation is required.
• CPR certification upon hire is required; ACSM certification is preferred.

• Provide assistance to ensure all members are adequately trained.
• Manage ongoing membership campaigns and campus events.
• Coordinate wellness program planning, development, implementation and evaluation with outcomes.
