Salaried grade 3, 4 or 5
$55,480 - $64,077 / year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Job Summary
The Wellness Coordinator I supports employees’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being by designing, implementing, and managing programs that promote healthy lifestyles and prevent illness. This role focuses on encouraging participation in wellness initiatives, coordinating wellness-related events, and maintaining data to track progress toward company-wide health goals. You will work collaboratively with healthcare providers, HR, and management to align wellness strategies with overall employee health and productivity objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Program Implementation: Develop, promote, and implement wellness and work-life programs that enhance employee engagement
- Needs Assessment: Assess employee health needs through surveys, screenings, and feedback sessions
- Personalized Coaching: Design personalized wellness plans that encourage healthy behaviors and prevent disease
- Data Tracking: Track and analyze employee participation, program outcomes, and overall effectiveness
- Communication: Create and distribute wellness newsletters, educational materials, and communications
- Event Planning: Coordinate health fairs, fitness challenges, and wellness workshops
- Strategic Alignment: Work with healthcare providers and benefit administrators to ensure alignment with medical and benefits plans
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend new initiatives based on utilization and feedback data
- Safety & Professionalism: * Maintain accurate and confidential wellness records
- Exercise personal safety on the job and demonstrate a commitment to the safety of others and our products
- Maintain good attendance and demonstrate workplace behavior consistent with company policies and values
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college or equivalent experience (2 years' experience = one year education)
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or Certified Group Fitness Instructor OR ability to obtain one of the above within the first year of employment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and wellness tracking systems
- Understanding of fitness, nutrition, behavioral health principles, and wellness program administration
Preferred Qualifications
- At least three years’ related experience
- Advanced Training: NBHWC (National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach), Precision Nutrition Certification, or equivalent Wellness Coach Certification
- Key Expertise: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, health coaching, biometric screening coordination, or employee wellness analytics
